Pulling the Roots: Recent Work by Tonya Balik and Leah Dunbar

Stout Fine Art alumnus come together with their recent work inspired by thoughts of transition and growth. Tonya recently received her MFA from University of Minnesota.
Leah works as an independent photographer in the Menomonie/Eau Claire area.
Show will be a mixture of Photography and Painting using mixed media.
Opening Reception: Friday, January 6th 7-10pm.

The Wolf's

After a long stretch of cold cloudy days, Easter Sunday was finally warm and sunny. From the Easter egg hunt in the back yard, to sidewalk chalk art in the driveway, the day couldn't have gotten much better!

Kari and Mike and Park Circle

September 25, 2010. Mike and Kari got married on a gorgeous fall day in Park Circle. Just months before, Mike proposed to Kari in that very park.

November 11, 2010. Marie and Catlan's backyard became the perfect backdrop for the couple's late summer wedding.

"Leah Dunbar was the most fabulous photographer to have for my engagement picture and wedding pictures! For our engagement pictures, she made my husband and I feel so comfortable. She wanted to get to know us and helped us do things in our photos that felt natural to us. For our wedding she treated it as an event, so she arrived early and stayed late into the night. One of my favorite things she did was caught pictures of all of my guests. She prepared the pictures in a very fast and timely manner. I have received many compliments on her from our guests and they noticed that she didn't miss a single moment. When something major was happening, she caught it on camera!
